Brazos Valley Students Shine in Pennsylvania
20 local Brazos Valley martial artists traveled to Pennsylvania in late June and the results were tremendous: 22 First Places, 11 Second Places, 6 Third Places, and 3 Overall Grand Champions for individual performances at the 2014 USA National Karate Championships!
On top of that, not only did the entire Elite Team win State this year but they followed it up with a National Championship performance in the Team Demo Division earning 1st Place honors. Also, Elite Demo Team won Most Supportive School.
Finally, Master Gargoles earned his 6th degree black belt and was recognized at the Legends of the Martial Arts Hall of Fame on this trip along with two students recognized as the 2014 Junior Male/Female Competitor of the Year Award recipients, Rylan Garza and Morgan Smith, respectively. Congrats to all!
