Fall Update
Last week, Kickstart Kids participated in North Texas Giving Day, the nation's largest community-wide fundraiser, and raised $3,000! A special thanks to all of our generous supporters who helped make this a success! Watch Laura Bush's thank you video about the event. For those who did not participate, no worries! New Year, New Students
The new school year has kicked off and our students have started their journey of learning character through karate. This year, we will impact more than 9,500 students in 59 schools across Texas. We are excited to launch a new program at Thornton Middle School in Fort Bend ISD. Students have suited up in their new uniforms and are currently focusing on the value of Honesty for September and Loyalty for October.
Upcoming Events at Kickstart Kids
Tournament Season Begins
The tournament season kicks off with Fall Qualifiers starting in November. Students will compete in kata, weapons, and sparring to earn their spots at Regional Championships in the Spring. The tournament theme is Ancient Warriors. Click here to find a tournament near you.
Giving Tuesday & Big Give Houston
Giving Tuesday and Big Give Houston will take place on Tuesday, November 27th. This is your chance to make year-end donations. Kickstart Kids needs you! Let's break some records this year!

Walk, Run, Kick 4.5k Pflugerville
We are excited to announce the first-ever Walk, Run, Kick 4.5k event which will benefit the nine Kickstart Kids programs in Central Texas. Join us for family fun, a canine costume contest, and more. Click here for info.
